ACC issues 1,681 certificates of origin in January

AMMAN — The Amman Chamber of Commerce (ACC) on Tuesday said that the number of certificates of origin it issued in the first month of 2022 increased by 16.3 percent, compared with the same month of 2021.اضافة اعلان

The ACC issued 1,681 certificates of origin in January, compared with 1,445 certificates in the same month of 2021, the chamber said in a statement carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

The majority of exports went to the UAE with 283 certificates, followed by Saudi Arabia with 214, Iraq with 83, Egypt with 77, and the US with 15.

In terms of value, Egypt topped the list with JD10 million, followed by Iraq with JD9 million, the UAE with JD6 million, Saudi Arabia with JD4 million, and the US with JD2 million.
