AMMAN — Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Jordan Naif
Sudairi on Monday joined a conference in Amman via phone call to explore
investment opportunities in the two countries.

During an Amman
Chamber of Industry meeting, Sudairi said the purpose of the
proposed conference was to familiarize investors in Saudi Arabia and Jordan
with investment opportunities in the two countries and boost partnerships,
according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
Saudi investments in Jordan amount to over $13 billion in
transport, infrastructure, energy, and tourism, according to the chambers
official figures.
Fathi Jaghbir, from the chamber of industry, highlighted the volume of oil
trade between the two countries, amounts to $2 billion and placed Saudi Arabia
among Jordan's top trading partners.
Saudi Arabia is the second-largest exporter to Jordan and also the
second-largest importer of Jordanian products, Jaghbir added.
