Gold prices have reached an unprecedented record, surpassing the $3,300 per ounce mark in futures trading, according to the latest market data.
As of Wednesday morning, gold prices jumped by nearly 2%, breaking previous records. Data showed that by 7:57 AM Moscow time, the June gold futures on the New York "Comex" exchange had risen by $61.22, or 1.89%, compared to the previous closing price.

As a result, the price of one ounce of gold reached $3,301.62 — the highest level in history.
Meanwhile, silver also saw a rise in value, with its May futures increasing by 0.49% to reach $32.455 per ounce.
