Gold prices reached a record peak, surpassing the $3000 mark on Tuesday, for the second time within a week, as investors seek to hedge against economic concerns fueled by tariff-related policies.

According to Bloomberg News, the price of gold in spot trading rose by 0.2% to reach $3008.08 per ounce. U.S. gold futures also increased by 0.4% to reach $3017.60.
Regarding other precious metals, the price of silver in spot trading rose by 0.2% to $33.89 per ounce, while platinum increased by 0.5% to $1004.65, and palladium rose by 0.5% to $969.60.
