IKEA recalls products over risk of breakage, burns

AMMAN — IKEA on Tuesday urged all customers who owns HEROISK or TALRIKA plates, bowls, and mugs to stop using them and to contact the company for a full refund.اضافة اعلان

In a press statement, the furniture giant said that the products can break and potentially cause burns due to hot content.

IKEA described the recall as a “precautionary measure,” noting that all the company’s products are tested and in compliance with applicable standards and legislation. Despite this, the statement said, the company has received reports of products breaking.

The products, HEROISK and TALRIKA, can be returned to any IKEA store for a full refund, without the need for a proof of purchase (receipt), according to the statement.
