Ahmad Al-Loush, the head of the Vision Association for Mobile Devices and Accessories Investors, revealed that the volume of mobile phone imports to Jordan during January and February 2025 reached approximately 259,000 devices, with a total value of about 26 million dinars.

Al-Loush pointed out in a press statement that the import volume during the same period last year was higher in terms of quantity, with about 334,000 devices imported. However, their total value was lower, amounting to only 24.5 million dinars.
He explained that this discrepancy reflects several factors, most notably shifts in consumption patterns. There might have been an increased demand for higher-value devices or premium brands, which led to a decline in the total number of devices imported but an increase in their value. Additionally, global price changes, whether due to inflation or rising production and shipping costs, may have contributed to this difference.
On the other hand, data from GSMA Intelligence revealed that the number of mobile phone subscriptions in Jordan reached 9.53 million at the beginning of 2025.
According to the data, the number of subscriptions in Jordan increased by 432,000 (+4.8%) between the beginning of 2024 and the beginning of 2025. Furthermore, 96.6% of these subscriptions support 3G, 4G, and 5G services.
