AMMAN — Prices of oil derivatives in global
markets have risen in the third week of April, according to data released on
Monday by the
Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, the Jordan News Agency,
Petra reported.

The ministry's figures showed that the price of
90-octane gasoline went up by 6.4 percent, going from $1,020.1 per tonne in the
second week of April to $1,085.8, while the price of 95-octane gasoline rose
from $1,049.7 per tonne to $1,123.3 per ton, an increase of 7 percent.
Diesel prices also increased by 4.8 percent going from
$1,053.4 per tonne to $1,104, while the prices of kerosene rose by 5.5 percent,
from $1,099.5 to $1,159.9 per tonne.
The prices of liquefied gas this month picked up by
4.5 percent, going from $913.8 in March to $955 per tonne. Meanwhile, Benchmark
Brent crude prices also rose in the third week of the current month, from
$104.3 to $105.7 per barrel.
