AMMAN —
Investment Minister Khairy Amr discussed with Ambassador of
Australia to Jordan Bernard Lynch means of cementing bilateral economic and
investment ties, as well as cooperation between the two countries' private
sectors, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

Talks during the meeting also tackled the competitive advantages that Jordan
enjoys, foremost among which are security, political stability, as well as the
highly developed and qualified human competencies, a statement by the ministry
said on Wednesday.
According to the statement, the minister also highlighted Jordanian laws intended
to regulate economic and investment activities and made reference to several
free trade agreements signed to open new markets for local products.
The envoy said that Jordan enjoys an attractive
investment environment,
highlighting Australia’s interest in launching energy and information
technology projects in the Kingdom.
