AMMAN — The
Jordan and Amman chambers of industry on Sunday discussed ways of consolidating trade ties with the minister
of economy in Sarajevo Canton, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

On the sidelines of the May 11-12 Sarajevo Business Forum
in Bosnia, both sides also discussed the possibility of signing a bilateral
free trade agreement.
In the forum, Tamim Qasrawi, a member of the
Jordan Chamber of Industry’s board of directors, highlighted to the gathering
challenges facing Jordan’s industrial sector, namely the ramifications of the
coronavirus pandemic and the Russian-Ukrainian war on supply chains.
Anas Niroukh, president of the Jordan and Bosnia
Association for Friendship and Business, stressed the importance of the
Jordanian delegation’s participation in the forum to promote business and
investments in the Kingdom.
Other meetings on the sidelines of the forum, included the
Bosnian Ministry of Investment, representatives of Macedonia’s government, the Bosnia
and Herzegovina Chamber of Commerce, and several municipalities and investors.
