Monday that the two countries' leaderships are keen on cementing cooperation in
various fields, especially their efforts along with Iraq towards achieving
economic and political integration among them.
The premier also cited an integrated industrial partnership initiative between
Jordan, Egypt and the UAE, which was announced in May, adding that the door is
open to Arab countries to join.
He lauded the outstanding efforts of Egypt in the fields of investment and
launching mega projects, such as the New Administrative Capital and the

benefiting from the Egyptian model of building new cities to accommodate
population growth in Amman and Zarqa.
During the meeting, which was attended by State Minister for Media Affairs

diplomacy under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah and Egyptian
President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to serve pan-Arab causes, foremost of which is
the Palestinian issue.
He reiterated the need to fulfill the legitimate national rights of the
Palestinian people on their national soil and establish an independent and
sovereign Palestinian state on the lines of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem
as its capital under the two-state solution and relevant international
resolutions and references to achieve comprehensive and just peace and
stability in the region.
During the meeting, the premier outlined the current regional and global
challenges and their repercussions, stressing that Jordan has overcome many of
the key challenges, including the coronavirus pandemic, the impact of the
Russian-Ukrainian crisis and skyrocketing global energy prices.
