AMMAN — An increase of 9 percent in the
Chamber of Amman exports, during the first eight months of this year, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

The increase in exports, for this year, is attributed to the enhancement of industrial and chemical sectors.
Amman exports reached 3,257 billion Jordanian Dinars during the first eight months of 2021. In 2019, the exports only reached 2,989 billion Jordanian Dinars during the same period, according to the chamber statistics.
Jordanian exports to the United stated have increased by 68 percent in 2021 when compared to 2019. In 2021, profits reached 617 million Jordanian Dinars, and in 2019 it was 368 million Jordanian Dinars, according to the chamber statistics.
About 18 percent of the chamber exports went to India during the first eight months of 2021.
A mild increase occurred in exports to
Iraq. In 2021, the exports profits reached 349 million JDs, when it was 347 JDs, during the first eight months, in 2019, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
Exports to
Saudi Arabia declined by 1 percent, to amount to JD 385 million compared to JD 389 million in 2019, while exports to Syria amounted to JD 55 million, composing 16 percent, compared to JD 48 million during the same period in 2019.
