Steitieh said the
factories were situated in the Faqoua district and the Moab district in Karak,
and the Erwim district and the Basira district in Tafileh.
He said young men will be hired for the evening
shift, which was agreed to be created to provide 1,500 job opportunities for
male youth residing in these areas.
He pointed out that young men who wish to work can
contact labor offices and directorates in the governorates to sign up for the
available opportunities or register through the e-platform “Sajjil” at the
Ministry of Labor website.
Steitieh said that a similar agreement was reached with
knitting and clothing factories in other governorates to employ young Jordanian
men in the evening shifts as well.
