Karak, Tafileh clothing factories announce 1,500 job vacancies

AMMAN — Minister of Labor Nayef Al-Steitieh said Sunday that he agreed with knitting and clothing factories in two southern governorates to employ young Jordanian males in evening shift, according to Al-Mamlaka TV.اضافة اعلان

Steitieh said the factories were situated in the Faqoua district and the Moab district in Karak, and the Erwim district and the Basira district in Tafileh.

He said young men will be hired for the evening shift, which was agreed to be created to provide 1,500 job opportunities for male youth residing in these areas.

He pointed out that young men who wish to work can contact labor offices and directorates in the governorates to sign up for the available opportunities or register through the e-platform “Sajjil” at the Ministry of Labor website.

Steitieh said that a similar agreement was reached with knitting and clothing factories in other governorates to employ young Jordanian men in the evening shifts as well.
