The Ministry of Agriculture confirmed the continued suspension of lemon imports while maintaining ongoing market studies and price monitoring to protect the domestic lemon product, which is experiencing an oversupply.

In a statement released today, Thursday, the Ministry noted that it is "monitoring the market's need for lemons and ensuring the availability of the local product."
The Ministry also announced the opening of imports for Clementines from all sources starting from mid-March.
Additionally, the Ministry decided to allow the importation of watermelon from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with applications for this purpose being accepted starting yesterday, provided that the last shipment enters Jordan by the 15th of this month.
