Kharabsheh said that the Kingdom's
imports of Iraqi oil in December amounted to 309,690 barrels, at a daily rate
of approximately 9,989 barrels.
The total amount of Iraqi crude oil
supplied to the Kingdom from September 1 to December 28, 2021, amounted to
1,194,734 barrels, which were transported by 4,679 Iraqi and Jordanian tankers

Importing Iraqi crude oil comes in
implementation of the memorandum of understanding for the supply of crude oil
signed between the governments of Iraq and Jordan on January 28, 2021, which
came into effect at the beginning of September 2021; it stipulates that Jordan
