According to Bloomberg news, Brent crude futures dropped by 20 cents, reaching $74.23 per barrel, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude fell by 28 cents, reaching $70.12 per barrel.

Both crude benchmarks fell by more than two dollars per barrel on Friday, marking weekly declines as well.
