AMMAN — Minister of Planning and
International Cooperation Nasser Al-Shraideh said that plans under the economic
modernization program are flexible and possible to amend, according to public interest,
Roya News reported.

He said that the time span of the program
is 10 years, and what has been announced so far is only the first patch of
modernization. He stressed that the process will continue to achieve an
effective public system that is able to accomplish its designated tasks, with a
high level of efficiency.
The minister explained that a Lower House
committee was formed to press ahead with the 2022-2025 economic modernization
plan.
He pointed out that there are operative annual
plans that are created upon studies for every driver of the plan, in addition
to forming 22 sectoral teams to create the operational program of the economic
modernization for the years 2022-2025.
Shraideh said that the plans and programs under
economic modernization are in line with His Majesty King Abdullah’s
comprehensive vision for modernization, in all its aspects.
He said the vision aims at boosting the
role of the private sector, that would culminate in an exceptional general
administration, and enhance the level of services provided for citizens.
