Jaghbir said that among the Kingdom’s top exported to the Palestinian market are cement, aluminum products, paints, foodstuff, semi-finished iron products, and natural sand.
The value of Jordanian industrial exports to the Palestinian market in the first ten months of the year amounted to nearly JD82 million, compared to JD63 million for the same period last year, marking an increase of 30.2 percent, he said.
The Kingdom’s exports to Palestine constitute 2.2 percent of total national exports, Jaghbir said, stressing that the Palestinian market is considered promising for Jordanian industries, due to the geographical proximity between the two countries and their deep-rooted and strong ties.
He said that Jordan faces a number of challenges that limit its commercial and economic relations with the Palestinian side.
