Recruitment no longer Civil Service Bureau responsibility, says bureau head

AMMAN — Civil Service Bureau President Sameh Al-Nasser said on Tuesday that the government-approved public sector modernization roadmap will make the bureau’s role more related to planning and organizing, not recruiting or reviewing applications, Khaberni reported. اضافة اعلان

Nasser added that the road map will change the bureau’s functions and shift the responsibility of applications and recruitment to the institutions themselves. He added that this is done with the of decentralizing employment opportunities.

He also highlighted that there is a backlog of job applications at the bureau, especially for academic disciplines as they are not wanted in the current labor market.
