Russia Keeps Interest Rate at Highest Level

The Central Bank of Russia announced on Friday that it is maintaining its key interest rate at 21% for the third consecutive time, marking its highest level historically, in an effort to curb inflation in goods and services prices.اضافة اعلان

In a statement, the Central Bank said: "The Board of the Central Bank of Russia has decided to keep the key interest rate at 21% annually. Although current inflationary pressures have eased, they remain high. The tightening of monetary and credit policies that has been achieved provides the necessary foundation for bringing the inflation rate back to the target level by 2026."
