The Tax Department clarified that this step was taken to help businesses, establishments, and individuals adhere to the provisions of Law No. (2) of 2025, which amends the system for expenses, allocations, consumption, and exemptions. This amendment led to the modification of Article (3) of the original system and the adoption of electronic invoices issued by the National E-Invoicing Program or through a program integrated with the National E-Invoicing System, in accordance with the invoicing regulations and oversight system governing local purchases of goods and services. It is important to note that the provisions of this paragraph will apply starting from April 1, 2025.
As a result, companies, establishments, and individuals can now engage with suppliers who are compliant with the National E-Invoicing System by accessing the provided link.
