U.S. major stock indices posted solid gains on Thursday, although not enough to fully offset recent losses stemming from the U.S. administration’s tariff-related decisions.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose by 619 points, reaching 40,212, marking a 1.56% increase.
The Nasdaq Composite, which is heavily weighted toward tech stocks, gained 337 points, climbing to 16,724, a rise of 2.06%.
The S&P 500 index also advanced, increasing by 95 points to reach 5,363, reflecting a 1.81% gain.
In commodities, the price of West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil also saw an uptick, reaching $61.59 per barrel.
While the market rebounded, analysts note that investor sentiment remains cautious amid ongoing trade uncertainties and policy shifts.
