The total quantities of vegetables, fruits, and leafy greens brought into the Central Wholesale Market under the Greater Amman Municipality today, Tuesday, amounted to 2,449 tons. This includes 1,839 tons of vegetables, 412 tons of fruits, and 197 tons of leafy greens.
According to the Central Market's bulletin and the price list for the varieties that arrived, based on the lowest and highest price per kilogram, the prices are as follows:
Black eggplant: 15 to 25 piasters
Dry onions: 15 to 20 piasters
Potatoes: 20 to 30 piasters
Tomatoes: 6 to 15 piasters
Carrots: 25 to 35 piasters
Cucumbers: 60 to 80 piasters
Cauliflower: 30 to 50 piasters
Lemons: 20 to 40 piasters
Local bananas: 50 to 80 piasters
