AMMAN — According to economic indexes issued by the Jordan Free and Development Zones Group (JFDZG), there has been a 32 percent growth of vehicle clearances in 2021 showing recovery of COVID-19 repercussions compared to 2020.

According to the Jordan News Agency, Petra, on Thursday the director-general of JFDZG, Abdul Hamid Gharaibeh, said that clearance growth percentage included 35 percent of electric vehicles due to their high demand in the Kingdom.
Gharaibeh also anticipated increasing demand in 2022 for electric and hybrid vehicles.
