Today, Monday, the Greater Amman Municipality Central Market saw the arrival of 2,578 tons of vegetables, fruits, and leafy greens, with the quantities divided into 1,958 tons of vegetables, 424 tons of fruits, and 195 tons of leafy greens.

According to the Central Market bulletin, the prices of most items remained stable, while cucumber prices continued to be high compared to other products, ranging between 75 and 100 piastres per kilogram, despite it being the third day of Ramadan.
The prices of some other items are as follows:
Cauliflower: 350 piastres per kilogram
Zucchini: 125 piastres per kilogram
Green beans: 125 piastres per kilogram
Baby cucumber: 100 piastres per kilogram
Vine leaves: Prices ranged between 700 - 800 piastres per kilogram, making them the most expensive among fruits.
Black eggplant: Between 15 and 25 piastres
Dry onions: Between 15 and 20 piastres
Potatoes: Between 20 and 30 piastres
Tomatoes: Between 6 and 15 piastres
Carrots: Between 25 and 35 piastres
Cauliflower: Between 25 and 50 piastres
Lemons: Between 20 and 40 piastres
Local bananas: Between 50 and 85 piastres
Despite the stability in most vegetable and fruit prices, vine leaves, cauliflower, zucchini, and baby cucumbers remain among the items with high prices, raising questions about the sustainability of these price increases in the coming period.
