AMMAN — Jordan has signed an agreement with the
World Bank for a $6.5 million grant to finance the project for enhancing reform
management in the
Kingdom, which was launched in 2019 to coordinate and follow
up on the reform matrix that the government adopted at the 2019 London
Conference.

the project consists of three pillars; supporting management
reform (at a cost of $3.8 million), enhancing the framework of public
investment management and public-private partnerships (costing $2.2 million),
and enhancing the framework and function of public purchases (at a cost of $0.5
million).
The agreement was signed by Minister of Planning and
International Cooperation Nasser Al-Shraideh on behalf of the government, and Director
of the Mashreq Department at the World Bank Saroj Kumaga.
