5G licenses will be granted in the next 16 to 18 months — TRC

AMMAN — The Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC) said that licenses will be granted to operators interested in investing in 5G networks in the next 16–18 months, according to Ammon news.اضافة اعلان

The commission is currently in discussions with service providers on the various technical, operational, and organizational aspects related to the launch of 5G.

The commission said that the operational experience of Jordanian companies has assisted in carrying out the studies on 5G in relation to technical aspects and coverage, “based on that we expect a quick response and no delay in launching 5G services.”
