89 private schools to raise fees next year

AMMAN — The head of the Association for Owners of  Private Schools, Munther Al-Sourani, said that after obtaining the required approvals, 89 private schools will raise their school fees in in the upcoming  academic year,  according to Ad-Dustour daily. According to Sourani, fees will increase by 5 percent, a figure approved by Ministry of Education. The extra revenues will be used to modernize the bus network, maintain the infrastructure and general state of schools, add new classes, increase salaries of school employees, and make other improvements.
