AUT and AMSU join The world of smart cards with Cairo Amman Bank

PRESS RELEASE — Aqaba University of Technology (AUT) and Aqaba Medical Sciences University (AMSU)have
joined the world of smart cards with the agreement they recently signed with
Cairo Amman Bank to convert the IDs of university students, faculty, and

Upon the joining of Aqaba University of Technology and Aqaba Medical Sciences University, the number of universities that benefit from this service, which is unique to Cairo Amman Bank in the local banking sector, has become 18 universities.
The agreement was signed by Mr. Kamal Al-Bakri, Chief Executive Officer of Cairo Amman Bank, and on behalf of Aqaba University of Technology and Aqaba Medical Sciences University, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Osama Madi.
Cairo Amman Bank succeeded in achieving a real successful partnership between the economy and higher education sectors, with the aim of serving the nation, supporting the comprehensive development process in it, and serving its people and institutions.
The multi-use smart-university card benefits its holder as an ID that gives them access to the various university facilities, in addition to being a payment card with which the holder can pay with it at all points of sale inside and outside Jordan, online purchases, and cash withdrawals.
Smart university cardholders can also charge these cards through Cairo Amman Bank branches across the Kingdom and through electronic payment kiosks that will be provided within universities in the near future.
This card is distinguished by enabling its holder to obtain discounts when using it at various selected shops across the Kingdom.
