General Manager of Development Areas Arwa Al-Hayari said on
Monday that the significance of the development agreement includes building
modern villas, commonly known as chalets.
The JD5 million investment is expected to start operation in
two years, and the project will provide more than 50 jobs in the initial phase.
She emphasized the role of development zones in the
continuous pursuit of outstanding tourist services, which contributes to enriching
the experience of visitors to the development area of the Dead Sea.
She stressed the importance of finding similar investment
projects in the Dead Sea area for development, saying they contribute to the
diversification of the tourism product.
She reaffirmed the historic and religious importance of the
Dead Sea region for development as one of the most important tourist
attractions in the Middle East.
Hayari said the increasing demand for investment in developmental
areas is a result of the improvement of the investment system, which is
boosting investor confidence.
