In the last two years, Floward had grown
exponentially by more than 40 times with operations now in nine countries and
34 cities across the
MENA and the UK. It needed more capacity and to migrate
millions of records with minimum downtime.
Floward’s goal was to upgrade its database
infrastructure, migrate millions of records and set up new fulfilment center in
a secure and fast way that would not cause any interruptions to its services or
dissatisfaction from its clients. To overcome these challenges, Floward chose
to expand its partnership with AWS and utilize its services in a way that
grabbed the global cloud service provider’s attention.
Chairman and CEO at
Floward, Abdulaziz B. Al
Loughani said: “Our team members and clients are at the center of everything we
do at Floward. It is especially important to us to meet their needs perfectly
while also expanding to serve more markets. We are immensely proud of the work
we have been doing and of our team on achieving these results in a way that
grabs international attention. We have big plans for our future, and we are
certain that Floward is marking itself as a global player in the gifting
industry.”
