The prices of listed stocks on the Amman Stock Exchange dropped in line with the declines seen in regional and global markets, falling by 1.85%, with the general index trading at 2,551 points.

The stock markets of Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, and Bahrain opened Sunday’s trading session with sharp declines, exceeding 5% in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Qatar, influenced by the wave of declines at the end of last week in global markets due to the ongoing trade war between the U.S. and other countries. Additionally, there were significant drops in oil prices.
The Saudi market index, "TASI," dropped by 5.08%, reaching 11,278.92 points at the opening of the session.
The Kuwaiti first market index fell by 5.13%, reaching 8,154.08 points, while the general market index dropped by 4.85%, reaching 7,610.58 points.
