Amman Stock Exchange Index Drops 0.3% in a Week

The general index of prices of shares listed on the Amman Stock Exchange declined by 0.3%, ending the week's trading at 2608 points.

The average daily trading volume on the Amman Stock Exchange during the past week was approximately 5.7 million JOD, compared to 5.2 million JOD the previous week, marking an 8.7% increase. The total weekly trading volume amounted to around 28.4 million JOD, compared to 26 million JOD the previous week.

The number of shares traded on the exchange during the past week reached 13.6 million shares, executed through 11,383 transactions.
