The Times Higher Education Asia Rankings are based on 18 carefully selected and comprehensive performance indicators, designed to provide a balanced and detailed picture of institutional quality across five key areas: teaching (the learning environment), research environment, research quality and impact, international outlook, and industry collaboration.
Entering this prestigious ranking from the first attempt — and achieving such an advanced position — stands as a testament to ASU’s robust academic infrastructure and the effectiveness of its strategy in fostering a sustainable educational and research environment, rooted in innovation and continuous development, and focused on graduating highly competent individuals who can compete regionally and globally.
It is also worth noting that this achievement follows ASU’s prior success in leading both public and private Jordanian universities by securing a place among the top 501–600 universities globally in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings, in addition to ranking first among Jordanian private universities and 25th in the Arab region according to the Times Higher Education Arab University Rankings.
