This memorandum reflects Ayla's commitment to building bridges of collaboration with local and international institutions active in sustainable development and leveraging Ayla's achievements and ongoing programs to raise awareness and spread environmental culture widely.

The memorandum was signed by Ayla's Executive Director, Engineer Sahl Dudin, and the Chairman of the Jordan Green Building Council, Engineer Abdullah Bdeir, in the presence of several executives from both Ayla and the council.

The memorandum provides a constructive framework for developing cooperative relationships and reviewing all projects and programs for collaboration that both parties seek to agree upon, thereby achieving their primary goals.

Engineer Sahl Dudin expressed his happiness in enhancing cooperation with the Jordan Green Building Council, supporting Jordan's green transformation, as Ayla's vision centers on sustainability, which has become the hallmark of its daily operations. Ayla has a long history of commitment to the best global standards both within its projects and in its community and national programs.

Dudin stated, "We hope that our collaboration with the Jordan Green Building Council will enhance our programs and open new horizons for preserving natural resources, as well as benefiting from Ayla’s experience in management, environmental education, services, designs, natural resource conservation, recycling, sustainable and healthy lifestyles, green energy, consumption rationalization, and emissions reduction, thereby disseminating this pioneering experience widely for the benefit of economic sectors and sustainable development in the kingdom."

For his part, Engineer Abdullah Bdeir emphasized the importance of developmental projects in southern Jordan, particularly in Aqaba, due to its strategic location and hot climate, which necessitate a shift towards green building practices to conserve natural resources like water and energy through green design in line with global green standards. This would reduce operational costs and enhance Ayla's competitiveness while placing it on the global map of the most sustainable tourist destinations.

Bdeir noted, "We look forward to future growth in the tourism sector becoming a standard practice for all Ayla investments, setting a model to be emulated at both the national and regional levels."

The memorandum includes avenues for cooperation in developing and conducting training courses and workshops for the local community and specialized individuals from various sectors to raise awareness and exchange expertise regarding the optimal use of natural resources, energy, water, waste management, and harmful emissions, contributing to enhancing the capacities of civil society and individuals towards achieving economic, social, and environmental sustainability in the kingdom. The memorandum also encourages participation in events and activities hosted by both the council and Ayla, providing advertising space in these activities to highlight the achieved accomplishments.

It is worth noting that Ayla has made significant achievements in sustainable development, starting from green solar energy projects and reducing harmful emissions to implementing environmental practices in water usage, mechanical treatment of wastewater for irrigation, increasing green spaces, protecting marine natural resources, and programs for coral reef transport and cultivation. Ayla is also dedicated to preserving fish populations and endangered sea turtles, developing pathways to attract migratory birds, adopting smart green transportation systems to reduce carbon footprints, and implementing environmental awareness and education programs, along with volunteer initiatives serving the local community.
