AMMAN —
Ayla Oasis Development Company
collaborated with several authorities to conduct a triple drill training (fire,
drowning, and water contamination) on one of its boats in Ayla’s marine, the
Jordan news Agency, Petra, reported.

The training was conducted alongside the Civil
Defense Department, the Royal Jordanian Navy, the Naval Forces, the Sea Breeze
& Aquamarine Company, and the Jordan Marine Company in Aqaba, to practice
the health and safety regulations put in place by the government and upper
management.
The training was attended by Aqaba Special Economic
Zone Authority Chief of Commissioners Nayef Bakhit, Aqaba Governor Khaled
Al-Hajjaj, and several Aqaba security directors.
Ayla’s Managing Director
Sahl Dudin said that the
training falls under the company’s safety framework, and aims to evaluate the
preparedness of both the company and its employees for dealing with threatening
situations, raising competency among employees for coping with emergencies.
Dudin expressed appreciation towards all the parties
present for their “constant support to make these drills effective and
successful”, commending the exceptional performance and high skill levels of
their management.
Hmoud Al-Rawajfeh,
Aqaba’s civil defense director,
highlighted the role training plays in helping company employees increase their
skills and experience in dealing with incidents.
