AMMAN — The Cabinet on Sunday
approved the recommendations of the Settlement and Reconciliation Committee to
settle the tax status of 1,023 companies and taxpayers with financial
obligations in accordance with the provisions of the Income Tax Law and the
General Sales Tax Law, Khaberni reported.
The committee was formed to resolve outstanding issues
between taxpayers and the Income and Sales Tax Department.
