AMMAN — The
Central Bank of Jordan put up for auction the first issuance of treasury bonds for the year at a value
of JD200 million, Al-Rai daily reported.

According to Central Bank data, the issuance
has a maturity date of February 8, 2033.
Treasury bonds are debt securities issued
by governments to obtain financial liquidity for projects in exchange for
long-term profits to their buyers.
