AMMAN —
Last year, the
Amman Chamber of Commerce (ACC)’s one-stop service department
completed 198,000 transactions provided by eight different official bodies,
according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

According to the ACC,
the transactions completed were to issue work permits, approve judicial and
consular documents, and to approve land, income, and sales tax papers.
At the end of 2021,
the ACC signed a memorandum of understanding with the Food and Drug
Administration to open an office at its headquarters for the purpose of
facilitating the transactions of dealers and importers of food and medical
supplies, including obtaining the required approvals.
President of the
chamber Khalil Al-Haj said that Amman Chamber of Commerce provides these
one-stop services for a large number of government departments to enable the
commercial sector, service and investors in the capital to carry out their
transactions with ease and improve the business environment.
