Cliq transfers surged to JD461
million in July, marking a substantial increase from JD399 million in June and JD367
million in May, as revealed by data from the
Jordan Payments and Clearing Company (JoPACC).

In parallel, the user base of Cliq
experienced an 8.9 percent upswing in July, reaching a count of 882,000, in
contrast to the 810,000 users recorded in June, Hala News reported.
Jordanians are a dominant force
Notably,
Jordanian users constituted a
dominant force at 779,000, accounting for a significant 94.8 percent of the
total users. In contrast, non-Jordanian users numbered 42,500, constituting 5.2
percent of the system's users.
Male users supersede female users
Digging into the demographic composition,
data collated by
JoPACC disclosed that 61.5 percent of Cliq's users were male,
constituting a total of 394,000, while the number of female users tallied to
308,000, comprising 38.5 percent of the total.
Furthermore, the age cohort that prominently
embraced the Cliq system were those aged between 18 to 30 years old, signifying
their heightened digital engagement. In the hierarchy of user age groups, the
31 to 40 bracket followed closely in second place.
