The Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan organized an extensive meeting that brought together heads and representatives of physical therapy associations and syndicates from several Arab countries under the title "Physical Therapy in the Arab World: Present and Future." This meeting was part of efforts to enhance regional cooperation and exchange expertise among professionals in this vital healthcare sector, focusing on the challenges and opportunities facing the field of physical therapy in the Arab world.اضافة اعلان

The event saw the attendance of a delegation from the Jordanian Physical Therapy Association, led by Dr. Alia Al-Ghawiri, along with notable participants from heads of Arab physical therapy associations and syndicates, including Dr. Mohammad Amro from Palestine, Dr. Sami Saad from Egypt, Dr. Sayedah Sassin from Lebanon, Dr. Abd al-Fattah Al-Qahtani from Saudi Arabia, Dr. Qais Qusaybat from Libya, Dr. Ahmed Habib from Sudan, as well as the general secretaries from Yemen, Kuwait, and Bahrain.

The meeting aimed to strengthen Arab integration in the field of physical therapy by unifying efforts and developing organizational, educational, and professional frameworks, which would contribute to improving the quality of therapeutic services and enhancing the efficiency of health professionals across the Arab world. The event served as a strategic platform for exchanging experiences and activating networks of communication between academic, professional, and syndicate institutions, fostering sustainable cooperation opportunities.

In his speech during the meeting, Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Majali, the University President, emphasized the importance of achieving effective Arab integration in the healthcare sector. He stressed that collaboration between specialized associations would drive scientific development, improve training programs, and have a positive impact on the health of the Arab population.

For her part, Professor Dr. Samah Najib, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, confirmed that the Department of Physical Therapy at the university is distinguished by its modern laboratories, focus on clinical training, and scientific research, which enhances the college's position both locally and regionally in this field.

Meanwhile, Dr. Alia Al-Ghawiri, President of the Jordanian Physical Therapy Association, explained that this meeting represents a true starting point for building a unified Arab vision for the future of physical therapy. This vision aims to improve the quality of healthcare and enhance opportunities for exchanging expertise between Arab countries, within unified frameworks and standards that keep pace with global developments.
