The hotel has been completely redesigned, and blends the finest traditions of Jordanian hospitality with contemporary elegance to create a relaxing “home away from home” that is set to enchant both local visitors and international travelers.
The enhanced guest experience begins on the approach to the hotel, which sits atop the tallest of Amman’s seven hills in the prestigious
Abdoun residential district.
Visitors are greeted with a completely new road framed by intricate landscaping, before arriving at the redesigned vestibule area that leads to the lobby.
This grand entrance sets the tone for the tasteful interiors found within, which reflect the Jordanian capital’s intersection of Arabic, Islamic, and Western cultures.

The renovation was carried out by globally renowned hotel design firm Richmond International, who crafted the original interiors for the opening of the property in 2003 and have succeeded in updating their vision in spectacular style.
Upon entering the reception area, guests will feel immediately welcome in the tranquil ambience amidst a striking fusion of modern and traditional elements.
Decorated in a soothing palette of earthy tones, the hotel’s expansive Foyer Lounge features colors, textures, and materials inspired by the majestic landscape that surrounds the city of
Amman.
Unique marquetry panels represent the Jordanian desert, while stone cladding and timber accents bring further touches of the natural world to the inviting space.
Stylish and sophisticated, the Foyer Lounge offers a delightfully informal meeting spot where guests can relax and indulge in Four Seasons signature hospitality, and is a favorite spot to see and be seen for the capital’s elite.

Design motifs from the lobby are repeated throughout the public areas of the hotel, which are enriched with locally produced artworks that tell the story of this charming destination and deepen the immersive sense of connection for guests.
Visitors may also wish to linger in the lobby and admire the sensational artistic floral centerpieces created by Alissar, a celebrated local florist.
On making their way to their sumptuous rooms and suites, guests will find their accommodations are bathed in natural light, offering a heightened experience when exploring the best of Jordan.
Each has been modernized to reflect contemporary influences and deliver greater comfort through advanced in-room technology. The interiors feature clean lines and vibrant colors to reflect the energy of the city itself, together with artwork and elegant details that draw heavily on Jordanian history and local artisanal craftwork.
“Through this renovation, it was our goal to completely revitalize the look of the hotel, as well as create a more relaxed feel that reflects the aspirations of today’s discerning travelers,” explains Carlo Stragiotto, general manager at Four Seasons Hotel Amman. “I would like to thank our business partners in Jordan and internationally for their patience during the period of the renovation. The team in Amman is filled with pride at the completion of the renovation and we look forward to welcoming back all our valued guests.”

The décor in the hotel’s 163 guest rooms echoes the natural theme first encountered in the Foyer Lounge. Characterized by pale grey and sandy tones, the rooms are offset with soft green accents. Meanwhile, the color scheme of the 29 suites is slightly warmer and complemented by rusty oranges, reds, golds, and greens, bringing the spirit of the desert and city to life.
All suites feature a selection of bespoke furniture together with ready-made pieces, whilst the guest rooms encompass an entirely tailor-made collection of furniture designs. Each accommodation has been designed to offer an adaptable space and homely environment for visitors to Amman.
Elaborating on the design concept, Richmond International’s principal, Fiona Thompson commented: ‘’Amman is considered the focal point of most innovative trends and cultural initiatives in the region, where urban European cool, mixes with a renewed sense of Arab pride.
We wanted to design a concept which blended local traditions with more modern textures creating a sophisticated and glamorous setting.
Our aim was to incorporate a mix of old and new, representing the layered history of the city that the property overlooks. An intimate destination oozing personality and Jordanian hospitality that is the place to be seen.’’
Visitors to Four Seasons Hotel Amman can choose from a delightful range of culinary options starting with a hearty breakfast in the comfort of their own room.
In addition to the dishes available in the refurbished Foyer Lounge, the hotel’s flagship restaurant La Capitale serves up a tantalizing selection of French-inspired cuisine, what many consider to be Amman’s top traditional brasserie.
While casual dining gets an upgrade with Five Grill & Lounge’s savory menu of burgers, pizza, seafood, and steak, served alongside the gorgeous Amman weather on the spacious outdoor terrace or by the pool.
