AMMAN — The
Jordan Hotel Association (JHA)has launched a free training program in the hotels sector for 100 youth, which
will provide employment immediately after the end of the training period,
according to a local news outlet.

The JHA will cover the cost of the training, which
will last for a period of six weeks and includes 160 training hours in centers
in Amman, covering different specialties including front desk attendance, hotel
management, and food and beverage services.
The association pays “great attention to the
interests of hotels, as this sector leads tourism and development in the
Kingdom” it said, noting the importance of attracting tourists and preserving
the competencies and talents of Jordanians.
This training
opportunity will help youth enhance their job qualifications, according to the
association. The conditions for application require that applicants be
Jordanian holders of national numbers between the ages of 18 and 30 years. In
addition, applicants must not be current social security subscribers.
Those wishing to participate in the program can submit their
CVs to
[email protected] before the deadline of December 1. Please note
that participants will be selected based on interviews.
