According to a press statement, the topics of the workshops were selected in coordination with the partnering schools and included the following topics: the basics of entrepreneurship, marketing, how to become an effective entrepreneur in your community, design thinking and e-business. The students learned about personal skills that entrepreneurs must have and how entrepreneurship contributes to finding solutions to develop and improve the society.
"The goal behind teaching the students entrepreneurship is not just for them to be aware of it and establish profitable projects, but rather to acquire entrepreneurial skills such as problem solving, creative thinking, team work, analyzing and developing ideas, thinking outside the box and building a generation that faces the society’s challenges as an active member and contributes to overcoming and solving them in a sustainable way.” said director of the Goethe-Institute Jordan, Laura Hartz.
These events were hosted within the framework of the Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW 2021) and the German Cultural Institute (Goethe) was recognized and honored as one of the most important partners during the closing ceremony of the GEW 13th edition that is annually organzied by the Queen Rania Center for Entrepreneurship (QRCE) at Princess Sumaya University for Technology. The closing ceremony was held under the patronage of HRH Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan.
The Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) is considered one of the biggest events celebrated by more than 200 countries around the world.
