Gold prices extended their record-breaking rally on Thursday, as investors continued to flock to safe-haven assets amid escalating global tensions between the United States and its trade partners.

According to Bloomberg, spot gold rose by 0.1%, reaching $3,346.2 per ounce, after hitting an all-time high of $3,357.4 per ounce earlier in the session. Meanwhile, U.S. gold futures climbed 0.4%, trading at $3,359.5 per ounce.
On Wednesday, gold prices had already breached the $3,300 per ounce mark, reaching unprecedented levels.
As for other precious metals:
Silver gained 0.1% to $32.78 per ounce
Platinum edged up 0.2% to $969.05
Palladium, however, slipped 0.7% to $964.75
