The IBS is thereby the first Jordanian training institute to
receive the accreditation and the second in the
Arab world, the institute said
in a press statement.
To successfully pass the accreditation process, nine
criteria are reviewed and assessed that cover areas including the
organization’s objectives, strategy, plans, governance, curricular structures,
and training syllabus, among others, according to IBS Director Riyad
Al-Hindawi.
Hindawi said that being accredited helps ensure the
implementation of international best practices in the fields of training and
development.
According to its website, ACCET “strives to identify,
evaluate, and enhance the delivery of continuing education and training through
an independent peer-evaluation process.”
