IMF on Jordan’s economy
The IMF said that the
Jordanian government has successfully
navigated recent external shocks, maintaining macroeconomic stability in an
"unstable and challenging" environment.
They anticipated that the
Jordanian economy will continue to
grow by 2.7 percent in the current year, despite "adverse global
winds."
The IMF also said that the Jordanian government remains
"committed" to gradually controlling expenditures in the coming years
to
reduce public debt to 80 percent of the GDP by 2028.
