Industrial production index up in Jan–July period of 2022

AMMAN — The industrial production index increased by 4.07 percent in the first seven months of 2022 to 92.85 points, compared with 89.23 points in the corresponding period in 2021, the Department of Statistics (DoS) reported on Tuesday.اضافة اعلان

The Jordan News Agency, Petra, said DoS attributed the growth in its monthly report to an increase in the production index of the manufacturing sector by 3.40 percent, the extractive industries sector by 8.73 percent, and electricity by 7.76 percent.
