AMMAN — President of the
Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC),
Khalil Al-Haj Tawfiq, confirmed on Saturday that the price of Indian rice in
the local market will not be affected by India’s decision banning its
export.
He added that the export ban decision relates to a specific type of rice that
Africa primarily relies on, while Jordan’s share of this type in the local
market is negligible.
