AMMAN — The
Jordan Chamber of Industry (JCI) and the
General Confederation of Algerian Enterprises (CGEA) signed a memorandum of
understanding Tuesday to bolster Jordanian-Algerian economic relations,
according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

JCI President
Fathi Jaghbir said the agreement will help Jordanian and Algerian businessmen build
beneficial economic relations, adding that the Algerian market is key for
Jordanian exporters.
He underlined the need
to promote investment opportunities in the Jordanian market for Algerian
businessmen. He pointed out that an official visit to
Algeria will be organized
to discuss investment opportunities in both countries.
Jordanian industry is
known for its high-quality products that meet the standards of Arab, European,
and American markets and can keep pace with modern technology, he added.
