AMMAN —
The Jordan Free Development Zones Group (JFDZ) has signed a development
agreement with Bonyan Tourism Cities Management Company to establish a JD2
million project encompassing restaurants and tourist cafes in the Dead Sea
Developmental Area, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

JFDZ Director
General Arwa Al-Hiyari said that the development zones seek to attract
qualitative tourism investments by providing an ideal and modern business
environment for investors, whether local or foreign.
Hiyari pointed to
the importance of investments and its contribution to diversifying the tourism
product in the Dead Sea development area, as the project will provide new and
diverse options for visitors and tourists to the Dead Sea.
She said that the
tourist restaurants sector contributes to employing manpower, as this project
will provide more than 80 job opportunities.
For his part, General
Manager of Bonyan Tourist Cities Management Company Laith Naimat confirmed that
the selection of the Dead Sea development area came as a result of the
incentives and facilities provided by the JFDZ, noting that the Dead Sea area
has many advantages and unique characteristics that distinguish it from other
tourist places and put it on the world tourism map.
